James Austin Murray, better known as JAM, breaks free from conventional music labels, emerging as a genre-busting artist whose fusion of folk, rock, and reggae crafts a vibrant and unique sound. His EP, “Universal Love,” a collaboration with Grammy award-winning producer Robert Carranza, marked a pivotal milestone in his journey; and recorded at Jack Johnson’s Solar Powered Plastic Plant studio in Hollywood, CA. Recognized by KWSS 93.9FM as a local standout, JAM NOW has received daily rotation and has a dedicated fanbase in his hometown of Phoenix, AZ. With an electrifying stage presence, JAM has commanded festival platforms alongside industry heavyweights like Sublime with Rome, The Dirty Heads, Slightly Stoopid, and Death Cab For Cutie. JAM’s collaborative spirit has allowed him to work with a diverse range of artists including Alice Cooper, G. Love & Special Sauce, Stravs of Katastro, and the Hollywood Vampires. He has graced stages as the opening act for luminaries such as Mickey Dolenz of The Monkees, Katchafire, Bob Marley’s band The Original Wailers and many more.
